I see you were curious, which is really important on a lot of levels, but more on that later.

First, let’s talk about why I coach. I coach because I have a deep passion to help people uncover and live their very best lives as their true selves. Nothing truly makes me as happy as seeing people being 100% themselves and living the lives they have always wanted to live. Being as healthy as possible is of course a cornerstone of living your best life, and that is where I start to shine.

So often when chasing after our dream lives, things can take a back seat as the all mighty dollar usually leads the race (you build a successful career and make that money and everything else will fall into place right? Maybe. Maybe not.) Things like health, life, and love may all get pushed aside into the, “I’ll get to that as soon as I have a steady career” section, soon you have a very successful career, and now is finally time to work on the other stuff, but where do you even begin? You need a coach!

What does a health coach do? Well, much like any other coach, a health coach helps you sort through what is going on, listens to what you have to say, helps you find a path to achieve the goals you have set, and most of all is there to help keep you accountable and motivated. Coaches are an amazing resource and are wonderful to have on your “team”.

But there are a million coaches out there…

Yep, there are many, MANY, coaches out there. That is so wonderful though! Even coaches who have received the same education will have had different lives, different experiences, different ways of coaching, the list goes on. The best way to find your perfect coach is to talk to coaches you are interested in and learn about how they coach, who they are and the people they have the most success coaching.

So how do I coach? I coach from a place of curiosity. I don’t judge (99.9% of coaches don’t), I honestly want to know about what you want to achieve, I am super curious about what you have tried before, what you are doing now, what you love, what you aren’t so crazy about, everything! I am fairly lenient as a coach, however, I do have a mom voice and I will use it if you are not meeting your goals (after all, you hire a coach to help you get to your goals.) I will push you in a positive way toward your goals.

There are several things I can promise you as a coach:
I will always be authentic with you.
I will always listen to you completely.
I will never judge you, and will do my best to be on your map.
I will always help you express your dreams and turn them into achievable goals.
I will always push you to meet your goals.
I will always be there for support in achieving your goals.
And more, but this list is getting long and you might be on board already.

The clients I help most often are people in their 40’s and 50’s who have worked fiercely on building their successful careers and now are ready to start building up the other areas of their life to match. Often their health is in the forefront as health starts to need more care once people are over 30.
